In an effort to strengthen its team and enhance the effectiveness of its operations, the Disaster Risk Management Division held its 3rd Staff Retreat, Friday 13, December 2024 at the Crown Beach Hotel, Pointe Au Sel.
The primary goal of this retreat was to reflect on the challenges and successes of the year 2024, while also laying the groundwork for the year ahead.
Facilitated by Director General, Mr. Robert Ernesta, the retreat provided an opportunity for staff members to share their experiences, discuss their individual and team performances, and highlight key challenges and achievements for 2024. This open forum allowed team members to engage in conversations about the division’s progress and areas for improvement.
Following the discussions, staff members were treated to a lunch, fostering a sense of camaraderie and relaxation.
The retreat concluded with a peer review session, where outstanding contributions from dedicated staff were recognised and celebrated.
As the division looks ahead to 2025, the retreat served as a moment of reflection on lessons learned and set ambitious goals for continued success and resilience in disaster risk management.
