In commemoration of the International Volunteer’s Day, 5th December 2024, the Disaster Risk Management Division (DRMD) takes a moment to acknowledge and honour all the individuals/organisations engaged with the division as volunteers for the year 2024.
The Division warmly thanks and appreciate all individuals who expressed their interest of becoming a registered volunteers under the Disaster Risk Management Act, 2014, who are willing to dedicate their time and energy to assist the division, the country before, during and after a disaster.
We welcome all who wish to be part of such good cause to submit their request for application on info@drmd.sc. The Volunteer Campaign remains ongoing and the Division encourages the public to take such initiative to assist the country during such difficult times.
A special thanks to members of the District Brigade, Seychelles Island Foundation (Praslin branch), the Seychelles National Youth Council- Youth Brigade, and the 7th Day Adventist Members for their participation, contributions and dedication in bettering our country, pushing towards community resilience.
